WHAT WE DO AT KENSINGTON BAPTIST CHURCH, BRECON
Our church is more than just Sunday worship.
There’s a whole lot happening with our community throughout the week.
SMALL GROUPS
If you settle at KBC then joining a small group is a great place to connect and grow in faith. At KBC small groups provide a place of community and belonging. They meet weekly and we hope they are a place where you can grow in your faith and develop as a disciple as well as making friends and having fun.
ALPHA COURSE
We run an Alpha course regularly and it is a great place to explore the Christian faith.
The course runs for 7 weeks and starts with a free introductory supper where you can ask questions and see if you think you might be interested. To join or get more information send us an email to kbcbreconalpha@gmail.com
WALK AND TALK GROUP
A group of friendly walkers who take a gentle stroll around Brecon with anyone who wishes to join us to chat socially and have some exercise. Everyone is welcome, whether you go to church or not!
We meet in the car park just over Watergate bridge on Kensington every Wednesday morning at 10:15 from late February/early March to early December. We walk fields, lanes, parks and woods and love to have new people join us.
SPARKLERS TODDLER GROUP
Sparklers runs weekly on Mondays from 10am to 12pm.
With toys, snacks, sing songs and plenty of space for little ones to run around, why not come along and enjoy the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.
All parents / carers and their little ones are welcome. Currently we charge £1 entrance.
Contact us for more info or just turn up on the day. Sparklers restarts on October 3rd.
Our team are fully DBS checked and compliant with our safeguarding policy.
ECO-FRIENDLY CHURCH
At KBC we care about our environment and our planet. We aim to be as environmentally sustainable as we can be in everything we do, and have a monthly litter-pick to help keep Brecon looking beautiful.
KBC supports the work of the Baptist Missionary Society, both financially and by linking with overseas workers.
